Wrong. He was elected by a minority of voters. The only way they got him elected was by not voting. In 70 days, republicans will lose the House and possibly the Senate. And his approval on the economy is not 7.7%+.

Because someone like Strzok is only fired. At least his place in history is assured. He was the lead investigator of the Clinton emails. That's worth something.

Trump talking point. Not valid and not worth anything. You have nothing as I expected except more of the same lame right wing talking points.

Yes voters will have their say in 70 days and its looking pretty ****ty for republicans right now. And it seems to be worsening.

Jay keeps repeating the same talking points as on Fox News. He is so desperate he refuses to even talk about all the people going to prison and being indicted related to Trump. His stories about the FBI and tall fantasies and bull****. Now he is trying to attack the Obama administration. This fool is falling flat on his face and the schtick about him being a moderate is just to save face and try to earn more credibility.

But but but Hillary... Wah wah wah wah. If she was guilty she would have been charged already by the GOP controlled Congress, or by the GOP controlled DOJ. In other words, your fantasies about a biased FBI agent, or about Hillary are completely fabricated bull****.

Perhaps a distraction from the impending bloodbath the GOP is going to receive in the midterms. And also a distraction from all the criminal investigations into the Trump administration. But... Hillary lmao.

While it looks good, I remember it looking good leading up to the TRUMP debacle so while I'm hopeful, I'm not dancing in the streets yet. Don't start celebrating until it's OVER.

It does not look good for Democrats. Where do you get that? They are slight favorites to win the House. In the Senate, they look to lose seats.

Wrong on all counts, one Jay. They are +7.2% popular vote wise and in many recent polls +12%. That means they are far more than slight favorites. Oh and they won't lose seats in the Senate, genius. What projections are you reading?

True. But 2018 is vastly different than 2016. We will see though.

True that. The Republicans were not running on a strong economy and lots of jobs.

True what? Learn how to read. The republicans aren't running on either and they are way behind in projections. Open your bloody eyes.

          Ditto
I'm going to wait and see just how it goes...

But even if the Dems get a strong hold on the house and do Impeach, I wonder if they will be able to get the super majority needed in the Senate to actually knock him out.
Some "experts" are saying that they are only 6 votes away from doing so... but that's based on including all the Repubs that have ever said a bad word about Trump
When push comes to shove, will ALL of them be willing to take down their own president?

One thing you can say for sure... IT WILL BE ENTERTAINING

There was never an intent to remove Trump. If that were the intent, this would be much more grim. Instead, it's banter.

Onejay, wrong again. People are enraged and turning out in record numbers for democrats in primaries. and trump will be removed as he has committed crimes.

2/3 of the senate is too much to expect from the current spineless repugs. But it would be fun to watch Trump with an opposing congress. His head would probably eventually explode. If people think he appears unhinged now.....................

I suspect he'd soldier on in roughly the same nonfunctional way, only blaming all failures on obstructionism from Congress in addition to the lying press etc. It's not like he's getting a whole lot accomplished at the moment anyway.

Trump also seems to be a little bit worried about the midterms.

Seems like he uses scare tactics in an attempt to influence evangelical leaders into persuading their sheep to vote for him

US President Donald Trump, facing scrutiny for hush money payments to a porn star and a former Playboy model, pleaded with evangelical leaders for political help during closed-door remarks on Monday, warning of dire consequences to their congregations should Republicans lose in November’s midterm elections.

He already blames Democrats for obstructionism, even though his party controls the White House, both chambers of Congress, the Supreme Court (as much as that can be a thing), and a majority of state governorships and legislatures.

According to onejay, why is he worried lol? Republicans are running on a "strong" economy and lots of (minimum wage) jobs?

Many of the new jobs created under Trump have vastly lower pay than what was created under Obama. Plus health care costs are spirialing and inflation is skyrocketing.

why are republicans often only averaging 34% in the popular vote for the House? They are in deep ****. Democrats have exceeded and overperformed in polling so it could even be worse.

I agree about the Republicans in the Senate. Especially since Flake and Corker are leaving and McCain has passed.

I do not agree it will be fun.
