BTW, a study found that 98% of news coverage of Trump is negative.
Well if 98% of what he does is negative....
This would be expected. Might be a little low.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Interesting article from 2014 that I'm going to talk about more later.

In a must-read essay, former GOP congressional analyst Mike Lofgren analyzes America's "Deep State," in which elected and unelected figures collude to serve powerful vested interests.

Or, as someone in another Forum stated with regards to the 98% negativity:
Well, what percentual relationship (betweeen good and bad reports) would you have expected with regards to the Fukushima disaster in 2011?
"Unbiased" 50:50? Or also overwhelmingly negative?

The most corrupt president in history isn't going to be "exposing Washington corruption." Trump didn't even pretend to put his affairs in a blind trust; he'd profiting, and knowing how much he is profiting, off of any given decision. If any other president had done what Trump is doing the Republican establishment would be baying at the moon.

Nixon was paranoid and abused power for political gain, for sure. More so than Trump could ever think of. But corruption is abuse of power for personal gain, and Nixon wasn't pursuing personal gain. He made no money out of his White House gig (except in the sense that all ex-presidents get speaking gigs and the like). Trump is making money in his personal accounts off of his power as president. That's the very definition of corruption. And, he doesn't care, which is kinda astonishing until you understand how solipsistic he is.

Trump wants to run America like Marcos or Suharto, as a family business, and he sees nothing wrong with it

Lets for a instance assue the deep state is true ... then still, Trump is the wrong person to trust with regards to fighting it.
It is more likely that he will turn it into something loyal to him (by replacing those on top of the deep state with his own puppets), so that he (and those around him) can use the deep state for their own purposes. Especially considering his past history of using peoples emotions (fears, desires) for his own gain.

I woud rather trust Arnold Schwarzenegger with the intelligence and integrity to fight the deep state (if he were PotUS), considering that he was/is involved in fighting (partially against republican resistance) against another bad of US politics, i.e.Gerrymandering

Ds are probably going by what they find out from their focus groups which has caused them to fail in the past. The Black Caucus is rogue though.

So they use fake news and a witch hunt then test focus groups. I'm going to throw up.

Trump only got about 1% of the vote in Washington D.C.

Ding ding ding. Nailed it. Nixon actually did quite a few good things as president.

Getting a low number of voters in regions that traditionally vote for democrats doesn't count as qualification for fghting the deep state.
Trump, during his campaign and before, gave the voters a multitude of reason, not to vote for him.

One of them is, that his integrity is quite questionable (if one thinks of the lawsuits concerning the Trum university fraud, his abuse of the bankruptcy laws, or the large scale destruction of dcuments hat took place in Trumps corporations, right before the election campaign).
Also think of the fact that Trump is a known conspiracy theorist.

So, this lack of integrity and credibility gives one enough reason to not vote for hm (and also to question his ability to actually be a person that can be trusted to fight against corruption/deep state).
His behavior as president, of course, only serves to confirm those doubts

Trump got rid of Comey because he wants to close the X-files to cover up his links to Reptilian shapeshifters controlling everything.
