Apparently one of Trump's most important advisors is named Kyle... that's why Trump's followers keep pointing and saying, "See Kyle!"

Actually in 1940 there would have been the chance to change the world forever, just by following Charles Lindberghs eample and caring about america first

You brought it up when you lied and said I called you a Nazi. I explained what I have called you to clarify the situation.
If you don't want to be called misogynist, drop the misogyny. Same with xenophobe and Islamaphobe.
I'm fine with you being here too.
Putting America first is a meaningless slogan. What he means is he's going to ignore the majority of Americans and implement an alt-right policy.I drank beer. I like beer. I still like beer. ... Do you like beer Senator?

The US ability to do or be what it is, was and still is conditional on getting along with other people.
If the current administration choses to isolate itslef from the world and play hardball, then it's pretty sure that many of its bridges will collapse.
That goes for trade/ money/influence etc
I keep reading how trump's election means the end of the US as a significant power in the world. Isolationism vs internationalism seems to be that the first won.
I also see a pattern of the "outsiders". Russia/US/UK/Turkey seem to engage in similar tactics.
UK signed a defense deal with Turkey, goes to the US to secure trade deals there etc etc
Turkey seems to completely have abandoned the path to modernization and democracy.
Noone doubts that the brexit will be a hard one.
Plus, now 53% of greeks feel that the drachma is preferable to the euro and you have a government in charge that, I think, will not relinquish power so easily. Meaning it will prefer to go down in a blaze of glory than capitulate on more demands. Which will mean the first exodus from the euro of a eurozone country. It was unthinkable before, but with percentages now superceding the "stay" crowd, it's possible (not probable IMO)
It seems that the world is in general dissaray. Globilization led to the drastic shrinking of the middle class in western countries. That was bound to have repercussions.
This re-allignment (according to theory) leads to protectionism that leads fatalistically to war.
Probably not in our generation though and with many chances to backtrack

The sentiment (to put (isolationist) ameica and stay out of the war against germany and also not to support GB/USSR with convoys) was there and was supported by at least one beloved celebrity (i.e. Lindbergh)
And had this movement gained more support than the sentiment that he war has to be fought ... well, I guess "The man in the high castle" and "Fatherland" describe such alternative scenarios very well.
And actually the fact that the owner of Breitbart News was made head of the national security council IMHO is even more reason for concern and should worry you, tooTamsin (Lost Girl): "I am the Harbinger of Death. I arrive on winds of blessed air. Air that you no longer deserve."

Plus you have to realize that Americans we're much more concerned about communism than they we're about national socialism.I drank beer. I like beer. I still like beer. ... Do you like beer Senator?

Sometimes analogies to the Nazis and Holocaust are warranted. A ban on refugees issued on Holocaust Memorial Day seems to be clearly one of those times.

What I am afraid or, regarding Muslim immigrants, is an attack on America. But I really shouldn't have to keep repeating that but I do because you have nothing but a strawman so you are just going to keep demonizing people over and over again.
Finally, we have plenty of immigrants right now in America. We literally have no need for Muslim refugees at all. They do not benefit our country even a little bit.I drank beer. I like beer. I still like beer. ... Do you like beer Senator?
