Second, the issue is what the parents believe and your lack of respect for them and tolerance for the difference in their beliefs. Liberals are the most intolerant people in the history of mankind.

Not believing in a religion, and therefore not wanting my child to be brainwashed into believing in it doesn't make me a bigot. If fact calling people a bigot because they are against a belief system is ridiculous. It only makes sense to call people bigots who are against people of certain ethnicity, gender or something like that. The way that you use the word bigot just makes it meaningless.

If you don't mind you child's teacher promoting a religion like Islam to your child that makes you a horrible parent. You are ultimately responsible for your child's education, and protecting them from brainwashing that will harm them.

"Evil" is a loaded word. Parents has a right to influence their children how they see fit. It isn't normal to call that indoctrination. When the school, government or media does it we call that indoctrination.

So you would be O.K., if I would indoctrinate/brainwash my children (if I had any) into believing that all christians are evil (by only telling them about inquisition, exorcisms, crusades and the Westboro Baptist church and make it appear as if this is the normal form of christian faith evemn today) and then prevent my kid from visiting a church during a school excursion, as this might indoctrinate my kid into false beliefs (that christians aren't as bad as I told them)

Or if I would indoctrinate / brainwash my hypothetical kids into the traditional Nazi beliefs, that jews are money grabbing subhumans who have secret pülans for world domination ... and then complain if the school "forces" my kid to take part in an excursion where they visit a synagogue and talk to real jews

I'm an agnostic, but to you I'd best be described as an atheist, because I think the Bible is codswallop, and Christians gullible, brainwashed fools.

Each of my children, in turn, has been approached by Christians and asked to go to Church. I've always allowed them to do so, because I think they should at the very minimum have some exposure to what other people think, and, with a little feedback from me admittedly, by allowed to make their own minds up.

Currently my 9 year old is a believer. Fine. I don't try to dissuade her. If she asks my opinion, however, I give it to her.

Your approach, however, is to believe all the propaganda about Islam (have you ever been to a Mosque?) and chant "All Muslims are evil", which is clearly a product of brainwashing. What is it, about a fifth of the world's population are Muslims? You really think they're all evil?

Being "fine with" and not punishing are two very different things. You have the right to raise your child. I don't. People are, this day, raising children to believe that all Christians are evil. They tell them all kinds of lies. I'm not using the political system to try to prevent them from doing that because I have respect for individuals. It's not my place.

I'm glad that you let your children be exposed to Christianity. IMO, that will do nothing but good for them. However, Islam is a different matter. Islam teaches intolerance. Now that's my opinion, which you obviously have no respect for. That's too bad. I hope that you teach your children to have respect for other people's opinions and not lie about what they say and call them names like bigot when they are simply defending their parental rights
