81% is not fringe. AfD should be a fringe party but when the establishment parties ignore the will of the people then some, possibly many, of the people turn to the fringe to get results and action. The solution is for the establishment parties to get their heads out of their own butts and to actually become more responsive to what the people want. That is how democracy works and people will vote less for parties who ignore their concerns and more for people who highlight theor concerns. No, that is not fascism and the more establishment types ignore the people and try to hand wave away legitimate concerns as "fascism" the less support the establishment will get. It is democracy in action and the establishment better start remembering it.
That says nothing about party preferences. You don't know what is going on in Europe. People aren't going to vote for fringe parties just because of that and you can't make demands on what a country should or shouldn't do. Immigrant bashing and posting one unreliable poll is fascism.
For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

Edit: Hold on getting a newer poll...

While her approval fell a bit, her partys support has held firm and the second major party comes in second. The fringe? Not even there. What you have failed to notice and some of the German public has failed to see too... Is that the migration wave has dropped off sharply in recent months. Far fewer are coming.

Btw in that election that was linked here who got first place?

It is the first time in an election in modern Germany that a far-right party has overtaken Ms. Merkel’s bloc of Christian Democrats and the Christian Social Union.

The center left Social Democrats won the majority of the votes, and I am willing to bet you they will be leading the next government. While Merkel's own party fell in the state, there were enough sane people to vote for the other main party.

The sensationalist articles fail to see that.

Oh and the Social Democrats received far many more votes than the fringe. This is math.

My point is this... Cooler heads will prevail and the center left and left wing will win way more votes and control.

If German politics weren't so fragmented, this right wing party wouldn't exist.

Gian, the point, if you had bothered to read and comprehend before posting your usual nonsense, is that a large majoroty are unhappy with a policy the main parties are all supporting. The main parties better start changing those policies or else people are goung to start voting for otger parties. That is what happens when political parties ate not responsive to the desires of voters.

Now I have said that three times in different ways so surely you are able to understand this without your usual misdirection and strawman arguments.

The only nonsense here are the posts you make. And if you would bother reading, you would realize what you say is not based in reality. A vast majority do not support the right wing party. This is what happens when you make things up, dinner.

You are all misdirection and ad hominem attacks. Even after I expose you as ignorant in this subject. And they were right in the other thread... Your grammar is atrocious.

I really try to be respectful, but when you post uncorroborated and unsupported rubbish about countries you know nothing about... I don't know what else to say.

Oh yes I most certainly did! And no, I'm not going to backtrack here. Dinner was just wrong. In every sense. Why must I use special gloves here? If he says something blatantly false, I will say something about it.

Edit: I made my post only ABOUT his NON-EXISTENT POINT, and not ABOUT HIM.

                              No. Everything was fine.

The only comment I made that was personal was to Ben and that was after that idiot called me a fascist.
