In Europe, perhaps that is true... But neither party is centre left. The democrats are center right. The republicans are so far right it makes any right wing party in Europe look moderate. The unionization of the American workforce is an at all time low. At any rate, Kaine has had endorsements from labor groups and unions in the past, so I don't see it as an issue. Kaine is so well respected very few people can think of anything bad to say about him. He is just a hardworking guy and seems to be more down to earth. The candidate I am backing has wide support and a wide coalition of voters. She also has more votes than Trump or any other candidate. I may differ from angry white males, but I have a similar perspective with many other voters, including minorities and women (who can't stand Trump).
