What people say matters. You don't know BK. If you're going to make accusations they should be based on what you know. So you know that he says he's not a racist. He still could be, but you don't know that. But the issue is whether that is a racist comment or not. Does it harm black people. You're missing the point. If he is racist against black people it's counterproductive to say he's not racist. Saying you're not racist is saying black people aren't inferior. It's saying you want equal rights for them, etc.... So it goes to the question of whether or not his comments harm black people, or not.
