A spokesperson for Strata told the meeting: "There are no negative impacts. A solar farm is a wonderful use for a property like this."

    Solar panels.

Ms Mann said she had seen areas near solar panels where plants are brown and dead because they did not get enough sunlight.

    Solar death panels.
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

That's why Jesus cursed a fig tree.... trees suck up light, and Jesus is made of light. It was self defense.

We have 16 panels, wish we had 4 more.

Obviously, they had planned to put the solar farm where all the illegal pot was grown.

We had premonitory signs that sun+government was an evil combination and yet we did not believe.

This story is one of my favorite canards of the last few years. the ****wit at the Independent didn't bother to mention that the town has approved three other solar farms in the same vicinity over the last few years (that would have ruined the "Stoopid Ameikkkans" clicks the Independent counts on from its gullible readers), nor does it say **** ALL about why the town council actually turned down this project after approving the others. No council members are actually quoted, just some paraphrases from some townspeople (which may or may not represent what they actually said).

And, of course, 'poly ate that **** up without ever stopping to think or check the source. Of course, no one ever lost money overestimating the gullibility of the average Apolyton poster.
The dogmas of the quiet past, are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty…we will be remembered in spite of ourselves… The fiery trial through which we pass, will light us down, in honor or dishonor, to the last generation… We shall nobly save, or meanly lose, the last best hope of earth.

Ahh, so it could be special interests blocking competition?

Death panels are real so maybe you don't have much cause to talk about others being stupid.
