                As we get older with no children left at home, we need less space. Not TINY, but yes less space.
                It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

                    yeah and no steps, on the flat ground, near the hospital, doctor and chemist. We'll probably go for something like this when we are older.

                      Yep. We bought a ranch, with a single step down to the garage that was converted to a family room. That one we can handle.

                          Restaurant prices are lower... if you "forget" to leave a tip. The gasoline tax is lower, too.

                            I'm pretty sure restaurant prices are cheaper even if you tip. The only thing cheaper in the UK is health care, but by quite a bit.
