What do they know? Meaning, on what basis does the typical pentecostal claim to be a Christian?
Almost all of the Christian fundamentalists who I've met (and I don't know how much overlap there is between "fundamentalist" and "pentecostal") a. claim to believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, and b. say that they have not read all or even most of the Bible, which has always struck me as being inconsistent to the point of being outright bull****.
