            With other words, Mormonism is a sect of Christianity which is a sect of Judaism, which itself is a sect of israelite Polytheism (in which YHWH was just some kind of storm god and had a wife named Asherah)

                Mormons are Christians in the broad sense but way out on the fringe.

                  Actually I don't think it's a sect. It's qualitatively different, just as different as Judaism if not more so. But at best it's a sect.

                          Wine definitely is a bad thing for alcoholics within the congregation.
                          Many parishs in germany AFAIK nowadays give you the option to use grapejuice instead

                            I can see having an option for grape juice, but there's no option for wine in a lot of churches. I think it was that whole prohibition thing here in the US.
