Really she's unambiguously wrong here; the only argument she could use in her defense is that we would approve if she were doing this to defy a ruling we really disliked, like Dred Scott or something (the ol' "incoherent accusations of hypocrisy" trick). I'm not concerned with politics, except where you say you have rights that have not been granted to you by God. Only God gives rights. You, and the crowd that you hide in, can not give inalienable rights, only political rights, which don't concern me.

Not sure if this has been shared here already; basically even Republicans are at most evenly divided over this woman. A majority of them think she should simply resign. With the rest of the country, it's not even close. The people who agree with her, one imagines, are basically people like Kid.
