I have not played this game, and this thread has me somewhat perplexed. On the one hand, HC's description does make it sound boring, and the decision to effectively punish the player for electing to automate a routine part of the game does sound absurd. On the other, "doing the same thing over and over to make a bunch of numbers go up" describes probably 90% of all RPGs ever.
