No, as in women not having a vote, not being allowed to run for political office, having considerably less rights under law, and living in a society which was run by men in all significant positions of power etc. Do you accept that is true?

Yes, men got to vote and work in the coal mines.

        • All men worked in the coal mines?

Also, WTF does that have to do with anything? Women got to be kidnapped, raped and sold as sex slaves, and didn't get to vote.

It matters because women had the privilege of generally not having to do hazardous jobs and fight in war. Should we only consider male privilege?

The 'privilege' of endless childbirth (no birth control of course) which every time carried a significant chance of death and a much higher likelihood of infant mortality? The privilege of spending every day scrubbing and cleaning with none of the modern day aids we take for granted, shopping and cooking to ensure a meal was ready for her husband, who was perfectly entitled to beat the **** out of her any time he chose for any or no reason when he got back from the coal mine, or nice office he happened to work in? The privilege of being sexual assaulted or raped and if she told anyone about it having her own reputation destroyed as people would judge it must have been her fault somehow?

Oh and let's not forget the privilege of being spoken to by every make like an idiotic child who wasn't clever enough to understand complex matters, despite being just as intelligent as the opposite gender.

No voice, no rights, no respect.

              • You have to understand that Kid thinks the fact that women did not have rights is balanced by the fact that women did not have to fight in wars (regardless of the fact they died just fine in those wars). Therefore, men and women were equal. But now..... all this equal rights crap is really code for total DOMINATION by WOMYN!!!

                        • What discussion? This is nothing but bull****. Multiple people asked me to provide reasons why someone who believed in gender equality would be anti-feminist and I did. Now I have to hear a bunch of "oh what about women?". "Oh men and boys, who gives a ****."

I'm not interested in your 'discussion' you morons.

You're being as much of an ass as when Kenobi tries to brush off the wrongs of slavery by talking about how hard whites had it back then. You're also conflating two seperate issues, namely income equality and gender equality. The clue is that poor men and poor women both got (and continue to get) ****ed by income equality, while only women got (and continue to get) ****ed by gender equality. They got to be poor AND treated like **** by half the rich and poor population just because of their gender.
