  • As women received an education in politics they desired the right to vote. That's why first wave feminists pushed for women's education.

That's right, it didn't take long at all for women to get the right to vote after they wanted it. All they had to do was protest.
How would you know what 19th century women wanted?

        • It was women who wanted to vote and who were interested in politics who were behind abolition/etc.

And there was actually many at Seneca Falls who didn't believe in Universal Suffrage. And those were educated women.

There have always been conservative idiots campaigning against their own self-interest but you made a generalization about 19th century women.

                  • Wow, just wow.
Women weren't allowed to vote because they never asked to. And when they finally did, they were given the right immediately without question.
                    Just unbelievable.

The only bright spot is that you don't teach kids history.

                              • Having you return with an attitude of vague, unfounded condescension instead of the previous blustering swagger has been mildly amusing, though it saddens me to learn that it's just an artifice that you've adopted as a defense mechanism, apparently because you can't tell which of your unfiltered thoughts might result in another banning.

While I do enjoy your unique combination of myopic worldview, twisted logic, selective history, and incoherent causation; what I really love is seeing it all largely confined to this one thread...
