  • Men had to fight for the right to vote in my country. Your country invaded my country and killed my countrymen because you didn't want them to vote and have representation in your government. Women didn't fight and they didn't get the right to vote. Of course they weren't really asking for it. When the did start asking for it they pretty much got it without a fight, at least not the kind of fight that men had to fight. So, 'wrongdoing' is just a word. Words can be twisted by propagation. That's what feminists do. You just talk and talk. When people talk back you start screaming and acting crazy.

Whatever the word, I didn't brush anything off. Another accusation with no basis. I'm just waiting for you to make a valid point. That I'm brushing things off is not a valid point. It's a false accusation.

Actually we sent troops to part of our own country to suppress terrorists who wanted to overthrow the legitimate government. If you want to get technical about it.

I didn't say you were brushing things off, I said you were being as much of an ass as Kenobi is when he does. I could have said it though, because it's equally true. You're brushing off thousands of years of rampant and often extremely violent gender inequality with complete bull**** about how women didn't fight in wars (they weren't allow to incidentally, by men) and that they didn't ask for the vote (from men, who used to ridicule, ignore or beat women for getting ideas above their station). Oh and to top it of you even call the fight for female emancipation easy, despite the centuries it took and the many women who gave their lives trying to achieve it.

Well done, you're really on a roll here.

      • Ok. You have no valid point, and you are even saying denying people the right to vote is fighting terrorism. You have no credibility.

No, I was playing, which the made perfectly clear. You were wrong though, they were not your countrymen, they were my countrymen at the time.

          • I'm interested in how many US Suffragettes died fighting for the right to vote. Also, your claim that it took centuries is laughable.

Why, so you can contrast it to how many men have died fighting in wars?

If you have any genuine interest in the suffrage movement, read about it.

In 1862 the Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court denied a divorce to a woman whose husband had horsewhipped her, saying, "The law gives the husband power to use such a degree of force necessary to make the wife behave and know her place."[19] Married women in many states could not legally sign contracts, which made it difficult for them to arrange for convention halls, printed materials and other things needed by the suffrage movement.[20] Restrictions like these were overcome in part by the passage of married women's property laws in several states, supported in some cases by wealthy fathers who didn't want their daughters' inheritance to fall under the complete control of their husbands.

It started in earnest as a movement around 1780 in France. The only reason it didn't before is because women were in no position to even put forward that kind of argument. Or would you equally say that slaves only wanted freedom after the major anti-slavery movements began?

              • Not my responsibility to provide facts for you. You claimed women died. How many?

There was no serious movement in the US because women didn't want to vote. How ridiculous that you compare that to slaves.

                  • I should have blown your mind but you have no mind to blow. Women didn't really start wanting to vote until WWI. You really have no clue. You just regurgitate all the crap that you've been fed.

That's right, it didn't take long at all for women to get the right to vote after they wanted it. All they had to do was protest.

You got any stupid insensitive joke to go with that like you did for the murder of my American brothers and my friend albie?

Nvm, I already know you don't because those are women, not men.

                            • Think for myself? You thought all women had wanted the right to vote for centuries before they got it. Why? Because you learned a bunch of half truths and filled in the blanks as you saw fit. Do you know why I knew that most women didn't want the right to vote until ww1, because I question what I'm taught. I investigate alternative sources with an open mind.

You know what? You don't even really care about women. You've got an agenda you're pushing. That's it.

This phrase was in the Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions from the Seneca Falls Women's Rights Convention in 1848:
Resolved, That it is the duty of the women of this country to secure to themselves their sacred right to the elective franchise.
