Literally true -- grew 6 inches in under 12 weeks. For years, my knees would audibly pop when I stood up. I was athletic, but a skinny little sh1t in glasses. The classic 98-pound weakling. Bully bait.

Kept growing through my freshman year of college; ended up 6'2-3/4", so there was a happy ending. Tall, thin and fit = a great thing to be (I was a cross country runner).

Same here. No real discussions, I learned mostly from seeing how my dad acted.

So it does sound like you did miss out on that Sava, just not the TV show "reality" part of it. If I was a psychologist I would recommend watching a bunch of John Wayne movies under hypnosis. (I don't know how those go over while stoned.)

Unfortunately, the example I had to work with often involved intense shouting and yelling... slamming, banging... thankfully, no physical abuse. But it was tough. He didn't know he was yelling. It wasn't his fault. The brain damage from the stroke changed his behavior but left his mind intact. I can only imagine what it was like being trapped like that and having no control over your outward reactions.
