It's actually very simple. All non-western sources are not "reliable sources". So edits will be reverted, and 3 edits-reverts is an "edit war". And then it's a ban. I didn't try it, but rules specifically say so. And someone was banned because of edits in MH17 about a month ago, it was in talk page at that time.

When I read the news from "WESTERN MEDIA" I can find two sources (usually more) that say the exact opposite, which is good so I can read both sides of a story. They all can't be propaganda or they'd all be saying the same thing.
