            yes

            i find that the whole "hot or not" type thoughts go away whenever i'm committed to someone

            despite my love for the visual female experience, i tend to be a bit prickly and require someone who clicks with my personality

            sadly, i've often had to choose... looks... or someone I don't want to strangle

            tough call

              ALWAYS go with the don't want to strangle.
              Everyone's looks degrade as they get older, but the need to strangle will never go away.

                  Yep, my wife stopped being 'HOT' many years ago but she's still the one that I want to tell when something good or interesting happens.
                  Getting old with her has been made it more tolerable. I couldn't have asked for more.

                            Compared to me..... you're a young pup.

                            Heck I saw an old business associate who I thought looked youthful and still kind of hot, and then calculated that she was around 52.
