There are more people posting with the account from 20-th century than not. I used to have one before this, as well but lost it somewhere in the early days.Socrates: "Good is That at which all things aim, If one knows what the good is, one will always do what is good." Brian: "Romanes eunt domus"
GW 2013: "and juistin bieber is gay with me and we have 10 kids we live in u.s.a in the white house with obama"

I'm seeing lots of 2000-2002, which I concede is still an extraordinarily long time to be on an Internet forum. But very few from "1969/1970". Also, very few recent posters, but I'm guessing nobody really plays Civilization anymore.Originally posted by OneFootInTheGrave View PostThere are more people posting with the account from 20-th century than not. Given that so many Fox News viewer still think that Sadam did 9/11 and that WMD were found in Iraq because Fox told them that was true... Well, I'd bet most of them still believe this too.Originally posted by OneFootInTheGrave View PostThey were just testing the waters on how far can they push "fair and balanced" views on air.
It would be interesting to see a poll of Fox News audience on how many still think this claim about Birmingham is a fact.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

I remember that site, MarkG ran it right? Vaguely remember you but don't think we interacted much. In the early days there were so many posters here. Probably 100 or so regulars.Originally posted by Dr Strangelove View PostI started visiting the site shortly after Civ 2 came out, before it merged with the Greek site, when it was still the Ultimate Civilization Site.

Yes there are people here who joined earlier than old Horsie, Colon was very early and still drops in when he runs out of chocolate.Originally posted by Dr Strangelove View PostI started visiting the site shortly after Civ 2 came out, before it merged with the Greek site, when it was still the Ultimate Civilization Site.Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer.
