Do you have any aftermarket products connected to your battery, Lori?

such as a car alarm... or even a custom head unit?

sometimes, defects (or poorly designed products) in those can reduce the life of your battery

Heh. No. I have an off-the-shelf 2009 Mazda 3i (with a new battery).

from what little research I've done, it seems your experience is a little better than average
3-5 yrs seems to be about the norm

I think you may actually be a bit lucky with the length of time you had the old one

          6 years right?

I'd check, but I'm not abandoning this quickreply to go back and read on the other page

Without knowing anything more about the history of the vehicle, it sounds like you are in pretty good shape.

Sava is that amaizing. He can guess your shape from the mileage, model and year of your car.

My fingers seem to switch into phonetical spanish every now and then. Sometmes i catch it, sometimes I don't.

                        It kind of pops in.

I'd be in better shape if I didn't have a car. As it is, I drive everywhere.

I suspect you would find yourself leaving the house much less if your only option was foot transportation.
