        Just take 8t to an auto parts store and let them charge your battery, they all do it for free. They will also be able to tell if your battery is retaining the charge or not.

                      Well after shoveling yesterday i forgot to plug my car in and it just barely started in the wonderful -26C morning.

                      I don't know how cold it was when yours didn't start but I don't plug in unless it's colder than -15.

                        About -12 C, which is the coldest weather my 6-year old car has ever experienced.

                          A 6 year old car should not be failing to start in 10F. Is it 6 years old to you, or 6 years old in general?

                            6 years old in general, 70,000 miles. I probably don't treat it particularly well, though.

                              That... is bad. My 2007 Mazda 3 had absolutely no problems whatsoever starting up in 10F weather.

                                My 1995 passport had absolutely no problems whatsoever starting up in 0f weather.
