Disputing the report that it didn't stop any attacks.

Torture working is unfalsifiable to them like God?

How do you set about proving the hypothesis that torture always works and thusly must always be employed?

Secondly, does it even matter to people who support torture that innocent people are tortured?

So, the end justifies the means?

Why then not introducing torture as normal interrigation methods for the police (on american citizens) ...
and, to make things complete, also introducing a law that allows you to wiretap all telecommunication in america, makes the use of cryptography for non governmental uses illegal and enforces observation cams in all homes and public places/buildings.

I am sure the number of lives who could saved by these means (by preventing crimes via these methods) would dwarve the numbers of people that were killed in 9/11

It's not just about saving lives either. The extreme tactics which some are calling torture (like causing hypothermia) were not authorized. Should they have expected it to happen? Yes. But everytime you go to war you should know that your troops will do things that they are not authorized to do. So to an extend you believe the ends justify the means.

So in short. Torture is fine as long as it doesn't happen to me.

Stupid, racist, sexist and a hypocrite. Nice combination you are building there...

I'm not going to ask how you managed to reach for that.
