A kid gets brain damage in a pee wee football game. Should all sports be illegal?
You're cherry picking and using it as a justification for keeping it illegal.
There are many many more damaging things that are legal.
So I think you need to not use that argument. Especially when you can't even prove the damage you're claiming.

And that's why heroin should be legal.

Or maybe there was an incompetent buffoon who went to med school and graduated thanks to his family's influence, and then he did surgery on Gandhi and killed him, whereas if he'd been smoking pot then he would have become journalist Hunter S Thompson instead of incompetent surgeon Hunter S Thompson.
