I don't care what "seems" to you. If you want to act as an apartheid/ethnic cleansing apologist, go ahead. That makes you a piece of ****. It's your choice whether you want to be a piece of **** or not. The things I say won't change that fact.
I'm not excusing their civil rights violations. But civil rights violations are a far lower tier offense than what Hamas is up to. Hamas is the side that's trying to exterminate their opponents. Israel just treats non-Jews as second class citizens. There's a clear difference between the two sides.
Do you believe that the Israelis are trying to kill as many Palestinians as possible? Do you believe that Hamas is trying to kill as many Israelis as possible? That should tell you who is more evil than the other.
These are my two questions for anybody saying that Israel and Hamas are morally equivalent:
Do you believe that Israel is trying to kill as many civilians as possible?
Do you believe that Hamas is trying to kill as many civilians as possible?
That's it. They're very simple, straightforward, yes or no questions.
If you refuse to answer them it shows me that you lack the intellectual honesty and moral courage to confront the real facts and issues. It shows me that you are a bandwagon hopping poseur who heard somewhere that it was cool to say "Both sides are at fault" but never really considered the reality of the situation. It shows me that you're a ****ing idiot.
It only tells me which side is the industrialized nation.
Bunch of blah blah blah from you. I've got stuff to do today. Hopefully when I get back you'll have thought up a response to my two very simple questions.

Your questions are more irrelevant than your twisted views.
Your questions are more irrelevant than your twisted views.
1. No
2. No
They are the only relevant questions when trying to figure out who the psycho murderers are. Apparently you think neither side is truly psycho murderers.
i think that the alternative to killing, bombing and imposing collective punishments on civilians is to not do those things.
many countries have suffered terrorism, and there is a choice about how to deal with it and combat it.
That's certainly one alternative. Another alternative would be to turn those hundreds of howitzers and dozens of MLRSs against the Gaza Strip, and kill every man, woman, and child who lives there.
The way you describe Israel's actions, one might almost believe that they were trying to kill people. But then you read the news and see that fewer than 100 people have been killed over the first few days, and it really makes those of us with any sense at all start to wonder.
Given Hamas's policy of using human shields, one would anticipate a much higher death toll. Also, if Israel were trying to kill people, what good would human shields do? They're only effective against people who are trying to minimize collateral damage.
this is a typical, and typically dishonest, zionist trope. the israelis drop the bombs which kill the civilians, yet somehow the zionists have convinced themselves that it's not the fault of those dropping the bombs. it's a remarkable exercise in self-deception.
You would have them ignore attacks on their civilian population and let Hamas kill their people with impunity. That's retarded. You're retarded.
Police shoot bystander. Police blame bystander. Cockney calls bull****. You say cop had to shoot bystander else the crim woulda got away Scot free.
Yeah, cockney is the retarded one. Obviously there are no other options.
IRA launches repeated rocket attacks on half of Britain. Cockney blames London when it takes action to stop it.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

this is like pointing out that britain has nuclear weapons, and then praising them for their restraint in not using them, in a debate about bloody sunday. saying in response to israeli violence against civilians that 'well they could kill many more if they wanted' is common tactic deployed in these debates, but not an effective one.
i also love the internal inconsistency in your second paragraph.
instead of trying to debate who is more evil than whom, let's talk about israeli policy. israel conducts a policy of collective punishment (alongside its other policies directed towards palestinians; of stealing land and humiliation), which includes killing civilians. we can see this in the gaza blockade where they prevented, the entry of goods with no conceivable military use (like toilet paper, spices and chocolate among many others), in response to rocket attacks. we can see it in the response to the three kidnapped teenagers, which was followed by a campaign of mass arrests and the deaths of five palestinian civilians. we see it everytime there is some flare-up from gaza, a strong bombing campaign in which tens or hundreds of civilians die. we can see it in almost every operation it conducts.

and talking of deception there's another one: this idea that if israel with its well-equipped and american financed military infrastructure, its 175,000 active personnel (along with 565,000 reservists) and its nuclear weapons(!), would somehow become defenceless if they stopped stealing from, humiliating and killing palestinian civilians.
