That video is obnoxious, stretching out to 17 minutes with all those scripted "they are trying to silence me" readings from AVFM contributors. Someone should tell their oh-so-respectable-looking "social media director" (a woman!) that this is the internet. You've got 2, maybe 3 minutes to make your point. After that, your audience is gone.

The letter from the DoubleTree could be real, though redacting the title and/or department of the sender calls that into question. I would question the legitimacy of the alleged telephone threats, however. Why would anyone threaten hotel staff? The credibility factor is right up there with, "Detroit sounds like a great place to attract people to our convention!"

I could be wrong, but frankly, this looks like a rather sad attempt to get some attention and free publicity more than anything else.

While times have changed, people haven’t. Women’s desire for domination is real. It is not buried so far down, or placed so far out of reach that it can’t moisten a vagina…at the mere thought of it.
Before you let your average academician, or other generic ideologue lecture you about sex, rape, consent or any aspect of human sexuality, you might want to consider that it is not very likely to help. If we want to understand something like rape, we won’t get there without a lot more thoughtful understanding of sex itself.
