Climate change in Norway: Cold and wet summers, warm and wet winters. And a whooping two weeks of summer temperatures and dry weather in late March.

For the last six weeks it has more or less constantly been 20-30 degrees above normal and the usual "May grey/June Gloom" has been completely absent so instead of the 70 degrees and slightly overcast forecast we've had 96 degrees, not a cloud in the sky except for the giant plumes of smoke & ash from the numerous wild fires which covers everything (especially my BMW ) and 50 mph winds out of the deserts. This is unheard of for this time of year. We're talking 100 year olds saying they have never heard of anything like it and I'm pissed off because even the crappy air conditioning machines at work are giving out. It was 91 degrees today in the office tower after the AC gave out. Hell, most buildings here don't even have AC because it is usually not needed. Like for decades not needed. As it is I was about to tell my boss to piss off and that I was going home.

Each summer I go there (a small island in the dodecanese).
the weather hasn't changed all these summers.
(it's very hot and you have to wear sunscreen on your face or you'll get melanoma. but it's beautiful. the beach not the melanoma)
