Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
First it was the driest winter ever on record and now a sustained heat wave starting last month continuing up until now with temperatures higher than the usual highest found in summer... And it is only May. This is not what we usually experience here and I don't like it.
Even weirder... We're supposed to get a freak summer storm on Friday which is expected to dump 1-2 inches on the coast and 3-4 inches in the mountains. That's more rain then we got in our entire rainy season this year but we're getting it during the dry season. WTF? They're saying flooding is to be expected in some areas.
I dunno, man; the weather's different than when I was a kid. We used to never have 60 degree days in January in North Carolina, but we do some now. We didn't used to have summer droughts, but we do most summers now. Mom's almost 74, and she says it ain't just me noticing.
Serious question - do you never look in on your late-night drunk threads again? I said something nice to you in Racist Dog...

Dude, I'm from the midwest.
Trust me, dry heat is more comfortable or preferable than HUMID heat.
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.
The San Marcos (of poly spambot carpet cleaning fame) fire. There are ten burning in the county right now due to the worst drought in recorded history and Santa Ana winds blowing at a time of year they are virtually unheard of in living memory and for a length of time virtually unheard of even in the hottest parts of summer. Honestly, the coast is looking like a desert right now when it is usually lush and green this time of year.

Oh, and the weatherman needs to commit seppuku because his forecasted freak summer down pour didn't happen though maybe it was wishful thinking because it would have greatly helped with the fires.
