Where are you getting that he covered anything up? The article didn't mention anything about how the incident was reported? For all you know he called the cops himself.
Someone said something in this thread that the guy took out tarp, and that there was sound on the recording of someone dragging a body.

    • I would think it would be too soft if he was having problems grasping it.

Is it illegal to move a dead body?

        • I would imagine that you generally should be safe from prosecution if you only do so in an attempt to save the person's life.

Depends whether you're moving it out of a morgue into a truck to deliver it to a German snuff sex party.

            • Anything involving Germans should be illegal, just to be safe.

Yes. I had a nosebleed once and blood got all over the carpet. Never really came out.

Those are all equivalent to breaking into someone's house.

What might a reasonable person do, if their house was being burgled on a regular basis ?

How about installing a burglar alarm ?

                            Contacting a security service ?

Having a security expert advise you on how to make your home less inviting to burglars ?

                            Notifying the local police ?

                            • Yeah because any of those things are definitely going to get there in time if your house is being burglarized. The police possess ****ing Star Trek teleporters to beam to your location and protect you when armed criminals enter your house to steal your property or harm your person.

Some of us live in areas where the police are a thing and respond when you call them. Even if you are black. Well, especially if you are black.

And you thought you were having a bad day.

Naperville police have launched an internal investigation into a bizarre incident, in which a police officer managed to get his squad car stuck atop a decorative boulder in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant.

No one was injured during the incident. It occurred about noon Monday at the Taco Bell restaurant at 2775 Aurora Ave. on Naperville’s far west side.

Sgt. Bill Davis, the police department’s public information officer, said the officer behind the wheel of the squad car at the time “was attempting to turn around in the lot to check on a vehicle when he over-steered, and drove over the curb and the rock.”

The squad car, No. 188, came to rest almost precisely atop the boulder’s peak.

“The vehicle has been sent out for an estimate on repairs,” Davis said Wednesday via email.

“As with all crashes involving police vehicles, it has been forwarded to (the police) Internal Affairs Unit for further investigation,” Davis said. Those findings “then will be submitted to the command staff” and Police Chief Robert W. Marshall “for final disposition,” he said.

Davis would not identify the officer who was driving the squad car at the time of the incident.

“The police department cannot make any comments on personnel matters,” he said.
