Thanks for this statement. You're a real dumb ass. When your house is on fire, don't call the government, let it burn. When your mom is sick and needs immediate transport to the hospital, jump in your car and make sure you stop at every light. I could go on..but I will leave it at you are a real dummy.

He's related to regina, the ex-toy soldier. Makes sense, right ?

My unit had a pft. We had 7 failures (who will receive a page 11 entry), 1 third class, and 10 second class.

What does that tell you about the Marine Corps Reserve vs Army ROTC?

              We had people fail too

I guess what it says is that both have people who aren't very physically fit in them.

What does it tell you about Alby that he's trying to troll reg over Army rotc, when reg isn't even in army rotc?

Yes because he did not bring up his rotc experiences repeatedly in this thread nor did he make statements about pencil whipping pft scores

No, your PT scores do not matter for anything of real importance other than whether you passed or failed. They have nothing to do with branch or specialty/MOS/designator assignment other than passing or failing outside of very niche things like SEALs and other SOF stuff and even here its just whether you passed or failed their standard not how much better you did beyond that. Yeah some ROTC punk like you might have gotten a certificate of awesome a clerk drew up from the share drive and printed out five minutes before to stroke your young ego but thats about it. Even in training regimens where there is cadet rank where PT scores may matter that's totally internal to that training regimen. Cadet ensign or cadet captain, in the end those selecting designators will see nothing but academics and any instructor recommendations. In the actual active service enlisted Evals and officer Fitreps generally have nothing more than the equivalent of the navy's "P/WS" or passed within standards. This is used regardless whether you just squeaked by or maxed. The Marine Corps is again unique in that they put a three digit score as well, but in the end all that matters is that you passed.

Your made up BS is even more funny here because the Marine Corps does something no other service does regarding MOS assignment. Everywhere else its basically top performers pick their preferences and these are generally followed after the needs of the service are factored in. In the Marine Corps TBS grads are divided into quintiles and every MOS gets a portion of each. They do this because outside idiot arm chair generals like you they realize there is no MOS that's more important than another (especially based on physical fitness) as each one is required to meet the end goal, thus all of them get some of the best and some of the worst and they get an even talent pool Corps wide.

I am not a butter bar just out of OCS, but even a butter bar like Albie has more gravitas over you who are quite literally a nobody when it comes to knowledge or experience here. If you didn't want to serve fine. If it you did but it wasn't a fit for you then great, I prefer that mature choice over trying to be something you are not. And I would not claim that someone who makes those decisions is a lesser person or that there are not things just as fulfilling career or service wise. And those who do serve in the military are not ubermench nor paragons of virtue and morality. Throughout history this was never considered the case and we received accolades based on what we did without us or the public thinking our **** didn't stink. We as a military are victims of our own messaging in that we started to believe the stories people told about us despite our better knowledge until they became our own stories which we believed even more readily, the end result being impossible standards being applied to us and us expecting impossible standards which are both irrelevant to the job we actually do. Is anyone really surprised such standards are not met?

That being said the fact that I am not a god walking amongst you mere mortals does not mean I am some knuckle dragger you as a completely untried and untested brat without an accomplishment to your name should feel capable of measuring yourself up against on this subject. You are literally jack **** to me, not because I am better than you but because you are utterly irrelevant to everything you are commenting on here regarding my profession. If you have questions great. If you have ideas great. If you would like to talk about either great. You don't though, what you have is juvenile rants and judgements based on your time as **** stain boot ROTC quitter. Your hostility makes it clear you did not make a mature decision I spoke of earlier but are rather a bitter child with pretensions of superiority. Grow up.
