To be honest, it's not the kind of thing that most people would want to deal with after an abortion. Questioning patients about how they want their fetus dealt with is a pretty potentially traumatic thing to add into the mix. If it's something people ask about it and are decieved about then that's terrible, but if the question never comes up then people being consulted about after the fact is pretty crappy. If people care that much then they'll ask, and if they're too upset to think about it, then dealing with it in a sensible way is not a bad thing.
