Something really bizarre

Ok I have two computers at work.
I switched to my older one an hit the shortcut to the OT and it showed the OT from Jan 11th. I cleared the cookies, history cache, etc and retried it. Same thing. I posted a new thread and it appeared. So I started scratching my head and went back to my newer machine and it was showing the current threads. Strange. I went home and logged on from there and everything was fine.

I came into work and checked again this morning and it was still showing the old forum. I went to my newer machine and copied the url for a newer thread and copied that into my older machine at it said the thread didn't exist.

Strange.

Any thoughts?

I remember when I had admin rights of some of the jokes we played on people, but this wasn't in the list.

I've tried different browsers but the same thing happens. This is really weird.

And both my machines connect through the same network.

Anti-chronotons are just chronotons moving backwards in time. So really, it depends on the polarity of the temporal anomaly.

sounds like one machine is still looking to the old server? Try entering the forums from the main page, and not your shortcut possibly.

That's what I'm thinking but I don't know how to make it stop.
I've tried typing in apolyton.net and going to the forums from there but no luck.

This is like the movie Groundhog Day! Rah should keep reliving the day until he "wins" every debate in every thread!

On a more serious note have you tried uninstalling one of the browsers and reinstalling? Also check to see if you have any malware or programs installed which might jack your browser.

Was there a time years ago when the only way to get to 'Poly was by the ip? I can't remember. If so, maybe you set the old machine to go to the ip and didn't fix it?
