I think that the ER would be vastly more efficient if it had one doctor or one PA who handled a bunch of the simple stuff and nothing else, so they can clear trivial cases rapidly. For stuff where they're willing to make you wait a few hours, like getting a couple of stitches, ordering those by complexity would make more sense.
Many ERs do that, they have an attached urgent care center, the traige nurse decides who goes to the ER and who goes to the urgent care area. Our hospital did that for awhile, but the problem is that many of the patients sent to the urgent care center feel that their problem isn't being taken seriously. There's also the liability problem, because it's attached to the hospital the urgent care will be held to the same standards as the ER.

      That seems sensible.

Of course, if Reg used Rochester soil he would get heavy metal poisoning.

I'm seeing learning difficulties linked to licking lead paint off his soldiers as he recreated the Viet Nam War, regina style.

Have you demonstrated that people in general think medical care grows on trees ? The only thing you've shown me is your low pain threshold. I dread to think what you would have done if you'd had my blocked common bile duct and swollen liver.

Called the World Health Organization and Centre For Disease Control probably.

Tsk, tsk. Most females would have a higher pain threshold and I suspect a great deal more sense.

Acted like a man and cleaned the wound and carried on sharpening your knife - hopefully aiming for something more vital next time!
Perhaps a picture of the femoral artery's location would help.
