Reg and HC believe people with less than $20 on them and who can't beg/borrow that in short order are worthless to society.“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

Well, you wasted three hours of your life, wasted your money, and got inadequate treatment of an injury. But making someone mildly annoyed on the internet means it was all worthwhile, I suppose.Originally posted by regexcellent View PostI'm enjoying myself. The genesis of the "evil Finn" concept- Evil, evil Finland

What would you recommend? Rubbing alcohol? I assume the topical ointments are good for small cuts but not deep ones needing stitching. Thus the use of the word topical.Originally posted by Guynemer View PostHydrogen peroxide has literally no antibiotic properties whatsoever. Until the communicable diseases spread from the peasants to the castle. Alcohol is anti-bacterial at 70% concentration. Lower is not. Higher is not either. One needs to read the label to find the concentration level (and dilute if applicable). For a deep wound I would use Bacardi 151.
I was always under the impression that hydrogen peroxide was safe and good for cleaning wounds.“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. I just read the post about soap and water.
PChang: I was surprised by the hydrogen Peroxide thing too. The 70% concentration bit is new to me as well so I guess I'm learning all sorts of things in this thread.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.
