Reg had his first lesson in real life.

Poor him. No separate private ER for his booboo.

presumably the medical staff made an assessment of how serious it was.

They probably didn't consider the possibility of him stalking off in disgust in their assessment.

i don't know. they probably considered the possibility that someone stupid enough to drop a knife on his ankle, would be stupid enough to walk out without receiving appropriate treatment....

In the UK he could have gone to an NHS Walk In Centre which deals with minor ailments, stitching minor cuts and things, and got that sorted rather than bothering A&E (although many people still would bother A&E).

Doesn't your community have urgent care centers?

Hydrogen peroxide has literally no antibiotic properties whatsoever. It isn't harmful to pour it on a wound, but it also does sweet ****-all to help.

The specific problem is that you don't have to pay upfront for the ER.

It would clearly be better to leave broke people to die on the streets outside if they lack the money.

Called RIT's health center, they can take my case in 20 minutes. Wow that's much better. Maybe because they charge money to visit?
