I bet the $70 fee has a lot more to do with it. I've gone to student health later in the day and it's not packed then either. Unfortunately it's not open 24 hours a day.
Hydrogen peroxide has literally no antibiotic properties whatsoever. It isn't harmful to pour it on a wound, but it also does sweet ****-all to help.
Didn't know that. So it's not even useful for cleaning out the wound? Thanks Doc.
What is the best, around the house, thing to use then?

DUH, I guess I should have guessed that. Does any of the creams do anything worthwhile, or are they a scam too?

Antibiotic creams, like Neosporin and generics? Those are fine. The problem is that many pathogenic organisms are developing resistance towards them. There's a prescription ointment called mupirocin that I prefer to use for that reason; there is literally no reason it shouldn't be over-the-counter as well, except, you know, money.

One final one then. Is it worth getting the bandages that include the neosporin? And thanks. Always refreshing to learn something here.

Presumably the system would work so that if you paid you'd get to jump the line a bit, and life-threatening injuries would always come first.
i'm not a doctor, but presumably there's a sliding scale of injuries and problems, from the most urgent to the least urgent and that people are treated based on that. it's not just life threatening and other.
