Um, anything else would be up to the judiciary? Either a federal prosecutor or one of the damaged parties bringing up charges. That's not up to the government/police.

I'm curious about how this is playing in Argentina.I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara
For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

This is part of a sort of national women's summit, and the more radical groups do stuf flike this every year, mostly those that belong to pro-government groups (since the Government dislikes the RCC, they know the police won't do anything about it). Also, attendants to the summit (which deals with women's rights in general, right now the more pressing affair is human trafficking and sexual slavery) are constantly heckled and attacked, with stones thrown at the buses they use to get to whichever city holds the meeting, to the point of breaking windows, as well as at the schools and hotels they spend the nights in.Indifference is Bliss

On your secondary paragraph, it depends if you are trying to force the debate into that question. Abortion rights are FAR more than "do women have control over their own bodies". That is the reason why most countries put limits in the 3rd trimester. There is another life to contend with there. Making into such a simplistic question is completely the wrong thing to do.
there's also a difference between reasonable regulation and an outright ban. take alcohol for example. we have no problem with age restrictions, a licensing regime for its sale and suchlike. however, everyone would consider a complete ban on it to be madness."The Christian way has not been tried and found wanting, it has been found to be hard and left untried" - GK Chesterton.

Originally posted by C0ckney View Posti disagree. if you look at groups such as the suffragettes in the UK, they committed violent acts, destroying property and hurting people, but that didn't make their cause any less righteous. it depends on the context. it's also worth pointing out that there are different sorts and levels of violence. what happened here is that the protesters ruffed up a few bused in boys (who belong to an extreme conservative catholic group, which promotes anti-semitism). no one died, i don't think anyone was even seriously injured. obviously, if they'd machined gunned a dozen of them or something, then i wouldn't support them.
of course i'm simplifying, but essentially it boils to a question of rights. the rights of the mother and the rights of a foetus. in most western countries, we prefer the rights of the mother up until a certain point (the third trimester, 22 weeks etc.), and afterwards we say that the foetus becomes a person and gains human rights. in some countries, though, the mother's rights are denied at any point.
