I'd prefer a bet on both Chambers but sure. Just give me a specific number you expect the GOP to loose in the Senate and then we can start haggling over the length of time the loser of the bet wears the avatar the winner chooses.

I put my terms up already. As for length of time for the Avatar. If your number is reasonably accurate, I'll have something of your choosing (avatar, signature, location remark, and flag) for 6 months. If not, I'll only claim your avatar for one month.

Sorry but that's ridiculous. If you're not willing to make a reasonable bet on one side or the other coming out ahead then we'll have to just leave it there. Betting on specific numbers of seats is completely stupid this early, and doubly so as you are not willing to take any risks here yourself.

And you'll lose seats in the House... but you won't lose the House.

I agree. I think the Senate will end up 51/49 democrat. Republicans would have to do much worse than they are now to not pick up 3 seats. I also agree that the house will become slightly less Republican, but that is not a good thing. The lost seats will be from moderates and will give the Tea Party more weight in the caucus.
