All 50 states are at will. I've never signed an employment contract, closest thing was a memo that states that I understand that I can be fired for anything at any time except for certain protected discrimination reasons.

Hilariously, despite making a big show and shutting down fed websites all over the place, healthcare.gov is still up. The Executive Branch is going out of its way to inconvenience people, except when it's Obama's favorite things. They don't need appropriations to keep websites online. If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

We'll see if a final agreement is reached in Geneva but it does look promising right now.
And how long did he drag out those talks. He's an experienced staller. How long do they have to stall before it's immaterial? And if he gets any concession on the sanctions, he's going to be quite the hero back home. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. They do have employment contracts in the US, but they aren't as widespread. They are usually reserved for the really high paid professionals.

The nice side of no contract is that you can pick up and leave just as fast as they can boot you. When the economy is cooking that makes sure that they go the extra mile to keep you happy."I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration." - Hillary Clinton, 2003
