Perhaps, but my cynicism says corruption stems mostly from the federal government being a large organization involving humans.

      This would be obvious.

Who are you kidding Imran, your personal experience inside the federal government viewing people being de facto fired is invalidated by high profile cases read about from news sources that make hay by taking the "government is evil" tack. Who are you to argue with news stories?

If you're going to defend Imran on the basis of his personal anecdotes of the experiences he's had with the Federal government, we have another person in this thread you should deal with then:

Regexcellent isnt a valid source because he is completely incapable of giving an honest assessment of anything related to the government. You think Imran really is a government sycophant who thinks it can do no wrong? Imran isn't counterbalanced by Reg, Reg isn't even on the same spectrum of intellectual honesty as Imran.

You're right. Who am I kidding, Regexcellent's personal experience inside the federal government viewing people who should have been fired is invalidated by your need to paint those experiences as something that never happened or otherwise unworthy of consideration. Who am I to disagree with that especially with Lori agreeing that it is indeed hard to actually fire a Federal employee?

Regexcellent should work on being a better human so that his experiences arent derided as half truths or transparently biased recollections.

That would have been a better counterargument for MRT to have used.

This is what we call "goalpost shifting". I never said it was easy to terminate a federal employee - only that it can and has been done (ie, it is not impossible or unheard of)

Dinodoc, I no sooner trust the Westboro Baptist Church to give me an anecdote about gays, than I do for reg to give an anecdote about government.

My eyes are rolling so hard they're gonna fall out, what the **** does this even mean?

My manager actually complained to me about how he couldn't fire this particularly worthless woman who basically never did anything but show up on time.

This story is not unique or notable either, it's a pretty common problem.
