                My car only had a cassette deck until earlier this summer. I still listened to cassette tapes until I got my new (used) car which has a cd drive a few months ago. Anyone who is nostalgic for them is a ****ing idiot. They are terrible. They have absolutely no redeeming qualities. If you desperately want to record songs off the radio, possibly because you haven't discovered THE INTERNET yet, just plug a radio into the line in on your PC.

                      Here they use cassette tapes and video tapes ... though it's for stringing up around the fields making visual 'traps' that supposedly scare the birds away from eating the rice.

                        Nobody ever did anything like that in my high school in any format, that I can remember.
