              Guy the problem is that such crimes are so damn common in the ****hole known as Chicago that the media doesn't care anymore. It's like claiming a shooting in Detroit should be national news.

                Holy ****, I just remembered that I had a dream involving the Trayvon Martin case last night. The dream was about a lot of different things, but there was a subplot where it turned out that years ago, before Zimmerman shot Martin, George Zimmerman had a different, Hispanic-sounding name and had gone into hiding (and changed his name to Zimmerman) to escape... err... something? I think maybe he had shot someone before. It's not clear. I also had superpowers that, among other things, let me catch fireworks. Yeah.

                  In all fairness it's just a certain area of Chicago. And if you think there aren't equally dangerous sections of New York, LA, and most other major US cities, you're delusional.

                      Apparently the city of Chicago has more murders than NYC with only a third of the population. That does surprise me.
