These days, I'm a marketing consultant and PR writer (positioned as "content creation agency") for various manufacturers in the pro audio industry. Some advertising, website and social media management as well. Actually, one of my clients is a major Canadian pro audio distributor, SF Marketing in Montreal. Good people, fun to party with, and they are contracting me for several application stories over the next three months (including the Calgary Stampede).

Back in the day ('85-'05), I ran roughshod over the industry on behalf of Shure (microphones and wireless systems), handling artist relations (endorsements and such), Web presence, and PR. Good times.

Nice thought, but these days, my clients generally won't pay for that approach. My sources are usually phone interviews supported by online research.

...but there is a new BtS Pitboss game being set up by some guys over at CFC. The game already has a host, and is going to be reported on during play over at Realms Beyond, in usual RB style where all players agree not to look at competitors private threads, and that general observers can watch each team play out the game. On top of this, it is being run as a teaching method, so each team should have at least 1 experienced player and 1...lesser skilled player. Which is why I don't know why I'm posting this here because you're all retards and would have to find a good player from one of the other fora to be a team mate.

As an aside, I'm not playing in this, because I see it being a huge train wreck.
