  • You and I can believe it, Sava. The sad fact is though that there is no evidence to prove who initiated the start of the physical conflict.

Good...hopefully then you will not repeat your errors any more then.

        • Is there any distinction between motorboating a vagina and oral sex? I had never heard the former phrase before today in relation to vagina.

More than anything, I'm irritated that such a degree of doubt is placed upon such proof... it's almost unheard of in the history of our criminal justice system. Every day, loads of people get locked up for things that aren't "proven" anywhere close to the bar that was set for this case.

With regards to justice, the cliche is something to the effect of "it's better to have a hundred guilty people go free rather than one innocent be locked up". But in reality, a lot of innocent people get locked up. And a lot of guilty people go free. It's frustrating.

This isn't anything new, of course. Personally, I'm more upset by the fact that this story is as big as it is. And now we get that story Wiggy posted where some dip**** at politico is making the seemingly not-so-obvious point that the media basically blew this out of proportion. No ****ing ****! I'd only say to that writer, "You are the media! It's your fault! SO SHUT THE **** UP ALREADY"

Yes it is in dispute. No one knows who started the physical assault. The point is no-one cares if they were yelling at each other up until the point of assault.

My errors? You give me too much credit. I'm not that original. Lots of people made them before me.

Props to the defense then. Leave it to a scumbag lawyer to take an obvious reality and add doubt.

                      • In Sava's defense it is true that many people have been convicted of rape and/or murder on less evidence. Zimmerman's lawyers were more competent than most PD's.

                        • I have literally seen a case where a man was convicted of rape without any evidence other than his girlfriend's testimony. The trial lasted 2 hours.

Yes. Oral sex generally refers to tonguing the clitoris. Motorboating, while making use of the lips, isn't necessarily a stimulating activity. It's more like taking your dick out and slapping the outside instead of ****ing.

I agree. The good here is that it has brought the issue of race to the national consciousness again. The reactions and polarizations are real proof that more needs to be done for there to be true equality in this country. Using this particular case was just stupid as the evidence does not support it being race based in any way. I am sure that there could have been much better cases for the media to grab hold of.

Still, if there is a silver lining, it is that discriminatory action is once again in the national spotlight.

Let's hope that this is the issue that stays in the focus. Our President has already strayed from the issue by calling SELF DEFENSE "GUN VIOLENCE". If it deteriorates into politicians trying to score political points for their pet projects then Trayvon will truly have died in vain. Only by keeping the focus on IMPROVING race relations can his death have any meaning...even if his death wasn't caused by race issues.
