We also have a set of siblings. They were diagnosed with FIV about six years ago, they're both 10 or 11 now, going strong, healthy as can be.Originally posted by Tuberski View PostMy cats were brothers, one died though a couple years ago.

Our two are matching litter mates also. Thirteen and getting lazy. Ok, they started getting lazy a long time ago. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Onodera is right. Cut his hair short and let it regrow keeping him brushed and clean if possible. How does kitty like getting wet in the shower? I know the stereotype is that cats hate water but I had a cat growing up who would happily climb into the shower with people (even pawing the shower door until you let him in) and he'd even jump into the backyard swimming pool especially if one of the dogs did it first. I guess he was just a cat who thought he was a dog.Originally posted by Guynemer View PostThis is our newest cat, Gibby.

Incidentally, anyone have any advice on how to best get rid of big-ass fur knots and mats on a giant cat's back?

It looks like my post was a day late and a dollar short as usual.Originally posted by Guynemer View PostGiant Stray Cat has been shaved.
He looks ridiculous.
But he no longer indignantly yowls whenever we touch his lower back.
