      No need to be crabby.

There's every reason to get crabby. Nobody has the ****ing right to judge me for taking any honest job that I can get.

I recently worked a fourteen hour day Sunday - very early Monday morning with the two jobs I have now; finally went to bed around 4:00 AM.
I recently had 2 14-hour workdays in a row. First day of which I didn't get any breaks whatsoever. Man up.

Not sleeping also makes me very cranky on the following afternoon.

He means it if you happen to have an accident while driving impaired due to lack of sleep.

To be fair, I had no class on Fridays and no class or work on weekends. But on the other hand, I wasn't considering all the time spent studying, doing homework, writing lab reports, and participating in my online class.

Yeah, it occured to me he might have had that in mind, but I don't drive a car.

No, I actually meant think of that fact the next time you find yourself in a hospital for whatever reason: a significant proportion of the physicians walking around are more impaired that someone who had just spent a night at a pub.

It was not just that one day and night for me, though; it's the norm lately.

                            To recap:

I talk about working 16 hours straight, not having slept. You talk about working 14 hours in a day.

I talk about back-to-back 14-hour workdays. You talk about having worked 14 hours a day more than once.

What exactly is it that you're trying to accomplish?
