Next time, consider one of the more wildly irresponsible energy drinks. I myself favor NOS for those days when Laz wakes me up in the wee hours and I can't get back to sleep before going off to work. A can of that poison contains as much caffeine as a liter and a half of Mountain Dew. Also it tastes vaguely like a beverage intended for actual human consumption, unlike Red Bull and Monster which taste like runoff from a decrepit third-world pharmaceutical plant. There's also Rockstar, but that tastes like something designed by a committee of child molesters to hide the taste of rohypnol.

Anyway, for cases like you described something more potent is in order. Try some of the skeezier gas stations and immigrant-run shops on the way to work, see if you can find something your EU inspectors "forgot" to check. Look for foreign words that look like "dexedrine," "synthetic horse androgen" or "Chinese migrant-worker strength."

I recently worked a fourteen hour day Sunday - very early Monday morning with the two jobs I have now; finally went to bed around 4:00 AM.

Speed. I was in the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment during the cold war. The 2 ACR was in the field 9 months out of the year, border duty and intensive training, and had 4 months a year off. The only way you can do that is with speed. Kept it in our berets, in the front where the beret flops over.
