Horsie's Aussie Bogan thread got me all nostalgic about some of the previous cars I've owned.

My very first was a 1981 Mk I 1.1L Ford Fiesta in Signal Orange, bought for £850, Registration NBW421W. AKA 'The Flying Tomato'.

I drove various of my parents' cars when I was in high school and college (a 1980 mazda hatchback, a 1994 Accord, a 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier, and some various station wagons) but never had one that was 'mine'. Bought my first car when I was 35.

Didn't drive before then either (though I passed my test) again I just didn't need one until we had kids.

It was a Dodge Dart. What happened to it is what happened to all Dodge Darts, except apparently the one in the picture: rusted through and fell apart.
