    OMFG IMPEACH HIM
Do you automatically construct strawmen to debate with or does it take effort on your part?
There's not one documented instance of anybody warning anyone about anything... despite Republican efforts to manufacture it. But nice try.
There's plenty of documented evidence of people warning the Admin about the state of security in Benghazi and at the consulate in particular.

And Bin Laden was determined to strike the US and we could have picked up one conspirator a month before the attacks of 9/11. What is your point in knowing about something that seems obvious in hindsight?

There is a drastic difference between debating on policy and the **** that's being thrown at Obama from some members of the right these days. That's the problem I have. Same with Bush; I didn't agree with a lot of what he did on foreign policy or national security, and happily said so, but I didin't try to throw him under the bus, either.

              So you argue mistake.

How does saying it was related to the video be a coverup of this mistake?

Even if it was a mistake, and it was a spin (that makes no sense), how is this anywhere near the level of watergate/iraq war 2/iran contra?

For the level of your responses, Obama should have
                A) arranged the attack on the consulate
                B) did some illegal coverup (killed some reporter, for example, or stopped executive/etc investigation)

I haven't even heard suggestions of these things.

                I don't understand your response.

I argue it was stupidity and incompetence on someone's part and they should have been fired for it.
how is this anywhere near the level of watergate/iraq war 2/iran contra?
No where in this thread have I said that it was or is likely to lead to an impeachment, so why would I say it is any of those things?

DD has been consistent and relatively factual here. Don't confuse his comments with Sloww's.

But I must disagree about the whole "patriots can disagree on policy" thing. I don't see it as a big issue now. Certainly it's nothing like when GWB's team would consistently skewer their opponents as unpatriotic throughout the post-9/11 years of his reign. The Hillary quote is nice and I think (hope) we can all agree with it. But that is certainly not how it went down for opponents of W's carte blanche.

Sure, I don't like that we elected Obama (though I didn't really love Romney either), and I'm not going to agree with most of his policies; but I'm an American, and he's the President, and I think that I should, by default, support him in his role. It's not dissimilar to the frustration I felt in 2002-2008, with the left acting similarly, except that I thought the Republican Party was supposed to be the 'patriotic' party - ie, all these Texans and Western folk and whatnot should be Patriotic Americans first second and third. I just don't get that vibe anymore.
I have to say that this was very well said, sir.

To be fair, Sloww brought up impeachment a couple times on the first page.

And it appears he is too chicken**** to put his money where his mouth is.
