That said, I hope Kermit burns. I don't think it's that reasonable to consider the service he was providing as a gold standard for what abortion services ought to look like, under any circumstances. It sounds more like what you'd expect to find if abortion were actually illegal.

If abortion clinics aren't going to be inspected the result is going to be the same as if abortion were illegal. Human nature is bad enough that most things have to be regulated, but people who perform abortions tend to be worse than the average Joe.
